Description
Up for auction is a nice, 3 Volume collection of Jimmie Rodgers "Yodelingly Yours", "A Memorial Album to a great entertainer". There are nine 45 rpm's altogether, with three in each set. The sets are Vol. 1, Vol. 2 & Vol. 3. Volume 1 is in fairly good condition with the following titles: "Blue Yodel No. 1", "Frankie And Johnny", "The Brakeman's Blues", "Daddy And Home", "Away Out On The Mountain", & "Never No Mo' Blues". The box cover is in fairly good condition, but is showing "wear and tear" from over time, with some minor scuffs and tears (which can be seen in pictures # 2, # 3, and # 4). The rpm's in this set are in good to very good condition, with a few very minor scuffs (which are barely visible and aren't believed to alter the sound). The previous owner of this collection apparently used metal adapters, with most of the adapters still in tact. The last picture shows some tearing on the label of one of the records, due from using the adapter and removing it. Volume 2 of this collection is also in fairly good condition, with the titles of: "Waiting For A Train", "Blue Yodel No. 4", "My Old Pal", "Desert Blues", I'm Sorry We Met", & "Blue Yodel No. 3". The box cover for this volume is in the same situation as Vol. 1. It also shows "wear and tear". This can be seen in pictures # 2, # 6 and # 7. The records in Vol. 2 all have the metal adapters attached, and are in good to very good condition, with very minor scuffs. Volume # 3 is also in fairly good condition with the following titles: "My Carolina Sunshine Girl", "Sleep, Baby, Sleep", "Blue Yodel No. 2", "Tuck Away My Lonesome Blues", "Dear Old Sunny South By The Sea", & Blue Yodel No. 6". This box cover also shows "wear and tear" as well (and can also be seen in picture # 2). The records are in good to very good condition with some minor scuffing, and all have the metal adapters in tact. This is a wonderful set of music history!!! Thank you for looking!!
