Jimmy Blythe's Owls 78 rpm record
Label: Vocalion (RACE) #1135
Category: Pre-War Jazz (Hot Jazz)
Point Scale: SOLID 6 to 7 or GOOD+ VG condition... Visually shows some tiny surface variety scratches, and scuffs... The 78 has a nice medium-high gloss, and is very clean! Surprisingly plays out VERY GOOD! No cracks, and no major or serious wear... Well kept and stored, but also has been enjoyed...
Cover/Label: Nice VG labels showing little wear... Some soiling, and an X mark both sides.
Extremely rare obscure Jazz 78 from the late 20's. Not much is known about the short lived Jimmy Blythe. Jimmy died at age 30. This record is in pretty nice condition with nothing major wrong with it. It's enjoyable to listen to, and is holding up great without any nicks, or cracks... It's condition is right around VG.
