While you're saving up mega-bucks for a UK issue, this original USA one may do! It’s on the Vertigo ‘Swirl’ label and in a Gatefold Sleeve.
Jimmy Campbell was a singer & songwriter who fell through the cracks back in the day – only now is his music appreciated. Born in Liverpool he formed a beat group ‘The Panthers’ and supported the Beatles. Jimmy Campbell's story is one of lost potential, someone who had the talent but couldn't pursue it. "I wish I got my act together," he once said, "and opened a songwriting school in Liverpool."… Here he thanks his friends Billy Kinsley Tony Crane (Merseybeats) & Pete Clarke (Escorts)
Jimmy sadly passed away in 1977. This LP is a reminder of someone who never received true recognition.
