Description

Spirit of Sound Records has come into vinyl LP gems, 45s and 78s from all genres in prime condition and will be listing regularly for the foreseeable future.  We presently offer rare items from a serious collection (5000-6000) of Jazz, Blues and R&B LPs!   Check titles and condition carefully. Introducing JIMMY CLEVELAND and His All Stars; EmArcy MG 36066, 1956 Original.  Mono. Cleveland on trombone in three sessions with Lucky Thompson, tenor sax; Cecil Payne, baritone sax;  Ernie Royal, trumpet; Barry Gailbraith, guitar; Paul Chambers, bass; John Williams, piano and Max Roach, drums.  Also performing in these sessions; Jerome Richardson, tenor sax; Wade Legge and Hank Jones, piano; Oscar Pettiford, bass; Joe Harris and Osie Johnson, drums.  Vinyl is EX, clean and shiny with very light scuffs, one very light line side 2 (no affect on play), light sleeve wear.  From my ear plays EX/Mint-, very nice sound.  Labels are clean, no marks, near perfect.  Jacket is VG+/EX, no splits or tears; front shiny and clean, very nice; back with some light discoloration in places, some of the notes are underlined in ink, 7 of the 10 song titles have 'bullets' in ink before each title and number of session after song title also written in ink; name 'Decker' written in ink top.  None of this obscures writing or graphics; light wear spine and spine corners. Includes original inner sleeve.  Rare find.  Very decent copy!           Spirit of Sound Records, a one of a kind, independent Vinyl LP shop, located in Camden, Maine, is the area's newest and only record shop, featuring new and vintage vinyl from all genres, meticulously cleaned and graded (I scrutinize each LP under a halogen lamp) for customer satisfaction. Owner Byron F. Greatorex comes from a 40 year history of collecting, buying and selling records, including ownership of two previous independent stores in Vermont and Maine.  Spirit of Sound aims to please! Our grading system is essentially the same as in Goldmine with one exception.  We use EX (in lieu of VG++) for vinyl that is between VG+ and just this side of Mint-.  
Spirit of Sound ships, in good faith, via USPS.  We combine shipping for multiple purchases.  To insure customer satisfaction, we will include delivery confirmation (with tracking number) on all domestic orders, thus the modest shipping/handling increase.  We encourage our international buyers to include insurance and delivery confirmation when choosing a shipping option.   Barring this choice, we will ship in good faith at buyers risk.
