Label:   WARWICK.  First pressing.  White label promotional copy.  Catalog number is M 547. 

Year:  1960

(Note:  One of Jimmy’s first releases on vinyl, later reissued on Dot.  Very scarce.  Not mentioned on his Wikipedia page.)

Condition:   “Wishing” grades VG++ with 100% of original gloss.  Plays with excellent fidelity, a very soft tick in a couple isolated places, but no serious distractions or issues. 

The flipside “True Love Ways” grades a bit lesser, VG to VG+ due to several noticeable ticks that are slightly distracting in a couple places.  However, the fidelity is quite strong and the overall listening experience is enjoyable as you can hear in the accompanying sound clip.     

A very scarce and excellent rockabilly gem that will interest Buddy Holly fans as he co-wrote both tunes and had a close association with Clovis Studios and Norman Petty.
