Description

Audiophile repress of The Jimmy Giuffre 3's LP "The Easy Way" reissued by Speakers Corner in 2003. Originally released by Verve Records in 1959. Very nice pressing on 180-gram virgin vinyl. Has 9 swinging chamber jazz arrangements from trio led by Jimmy Giuffre (clarinet, saxes) with Jim Hall (guitar) and Ray Brown (bass). The sound is full despite just a trio thanks to Giuffre's unique arranging skills and Giuffre's tender soloing also sets these recordings apart. Lovely and interesting music that benifits from the audiophile treatment.
