Description
JIMMY LOVE “Way Down in New Orleans” popcorn soul R&B 45 on VIOLET orig HEAR
Artist: JIMMY LOVE
Titles: “(Ghee Chee Woman) Way Down In New Orleans” / “Let Me Down Easy”
Label: VIOLET (Cleveland, OH). Label is blue with silver text. Catalog number is Violet 1052.
Year: 1963
Condition: Vinyl is EXCELLENT with 100% of original gloss. Has been played a very small number of times and handled with care. A small, slight scuff (not audible), nothing more. Plays beautifully with excellent fidelity as you can hear in the accompanying sound clip from this actual record.
Labels were unfortunately exposed to dampness/moisture at an earlier time, with small tears/rips/fading that detracts from the appearance of the non-laminated surfaces.
Guaranteed to be original and authentic. I do not sell bootlegs or modern reissues.
<< To hear a sound clip from the A-Side of this actual record in its entirety, please click on the eCommerce-Player icon in the AUDIO box at the top of the page. No noise modification software has been used – what you hear is what you will get. >>
