Jimmy McGriff, Blues For Mister Jimmy.

1964 England pressed London Records mono LP, HAC 8247.

Earliest heavy duty plum label issue with distinctive Decca pressed deep groove and earliest 1B/2B matrix suffixes.

An unusually well preserved issue. Vinyl visually EX. The surfaces still have a very high gloss and display just a very few light and superficial hairline scuff marks. There are some spider trail marks around the centre spindle areas although these are not numerous.

A fraction of the crackle to the beginning of A3, else playback is a strong EX plus and really only a whisker away from near mint.

Labels are clean and unmarked.

Inner sleeve in good order.

External sleeve close to EX. Structurally sound with intact and tidy spine, edges and entry side. Laminated front panel clean and unmarked. Matt white rear panel showing some age toning and ringwear impression but this light and unobtrusive. No pen inscriptions, sticker debris etc.

All in all a nice and tidy issue.
