ORIGINAL & RARE ORIGINAL SOLO SINGLE-RELEASE!
Oh! Here's a REALLY COOL and heavy 'big gun' from the great UK garage-beat era of the middle-1960's!
Staccato riffing guitar chords attacking the eardrums, harps shuffle a train rhythm while the rasp of the cool vocal here makes for a 'threatening' and yet feral awakening!!
GREAT stuff, and like bands such as The KINKS were also turning out with some very nice garage-mod tunes (often the 'B' sides were the freakbeat gems from Ray Davies' and crew).
For me the 'B' side burns and stings the most, pumping rhythm chords intersperse with wild rousing organ, loads of brilliant guitar ripping, and most of all the harmonica going all-out through the whole proceeding. BLISTERING paced, urgent and excellent.
Jimmy's girlfriend at that time was Jackie De Shannon, who is wailing along with the suggestion that we "keep moving" - as if you can stay still while listening to this!!
AWESOME stuff, and a Led Zeppelin fan's treasure!
Extremely rare and highly sought after, copies are scarcer than hen's teeth and almost never found in decent shape!
This hard-edged two-sided garage gem of a single is uber-rare, a special one for collectors around the World, and definitely worth its' salt!
VERY few copies have ever turned up.
