Hello! You are looking at a *RARE* Original First Press vinyl copy of JIMMY PATTON - "Lonely Nights / Okie's In The Pokie"

SIMS Records, 45-117, 1960.

This is a very rare country single with a fine country shuffle on the A-side and an absolute rockabilly burner on the B-side! This is an Original First Press, not a reissue or reproduction. The thick silver ink and increased spacing on the labels identifies the first press, as this copy displays. Very few actual first presses have *ever* surfaced for sale! Overall, the record is graded conservatively as VG+. Both sides have a lot of gloss and no scratches whatsoever. Only a small triangle of discoloration on the A-side, and super light line and paper sleeve rub on the B-side that DNAP. The labels are vivid blue with thick silver ink and CLEAN. The only issue that detracts is a tag or label that was removed on the A-side label, which peeled off some of the paper. Please review the photos and feel free to ask any questions. I've also recorded the first 30 seconds of each side so you can review the sound. The recording is bright and punchy and plays solid VG+ on each side with no issues to note!

M / only sealed items will have this grading.
NM / an immaculate copy that has a known provenance or is an unplayed, opened copy.
EX / no easily identifiable marks on vinyl. High luster. A "top copy".
VG+ / very minor marks, absolutely no feelers. Well taken care of. A "keeper copy".
VG / visible wear or marks that may be audible. A feeler or two, tops. May have tics, but no pops. A "player copy".
VG- / has wear and multiple marks, including feelers. May have a few pops and some background noise, but no skips. A listing at this grade must be a scarce pressing.
G+ / must play through with no skip feelers or warps, or locked grooves. Will have pops and more prevalent background noise. A listing at this grade must be a rare pressing.
