You are bidding for a CLASSIC US 50'S ROCK 'N' ROLL/ BLUES 78 RPM single by JIMMY REED called YOU'VE GOT ME DIZZY backed withHOPNEY DON'T LET ME GO issued on the VEE-JAY record label in the US in 1956, cat number VJ 226 (PLUM AND SILVER LABEL). The record is in excellent condition with excellent labels .The record has slight wear with some slight surface scuffs and slight surface scratches but plays with no jumps and clicks and a minimum of surface noise. CLASSIC US R& B/ ROCK AND ROLL from JIMMY REED with two great rocking tracks from one of the R 'N' R / BLUES PIONEERS who was to have such an influence on the BLUES AND ROCK SCENE especially THE ROLLING STONES (SHAME SHAME SHAME, AIN'T THAT LOVIN YOU BABY, HONEST I DO)and ELVIS who both covered a number of his songs(BABY WHAT YOU WANT ME TO DO, BIG BOSS MAN, AIN'T THAT LOVING YOU BABY) .The YARDBIRDS covered his songs as did VAN MORRISON AND THEM. CLASSIC ROCKING BLUES A little piece of recording history... RARE in decent condition, from my own collection.
