TITLE/ARTIST: This 1959 LP by the bluesy, folk singing artist, Jimmy Reed, is on the original, maroon colored, Vee-Jay Label and is just one of three (3) Jimmy Reed LPs I am listing in this auction. The album is entitled "Rockin' With Reed and was his 2nd LP release for this Vee-Jay label. This is just one of many nicely conditioned LPs I'll be listing in the coming days/weeks. This is a beautifully conditioned LP -- espiecally the vinyl -- featuring 12 great early songs by this legendary artist. In my opinion, the condition of the vinyl is extremely nice and very close to perfect, but please view the pics below, read about the LP's condition, and judge for yourself. LABEL INFO: As mentioned above it is on the original, Maroon colored,Vee-Jay Label, LP-1008 and in my opinion, is in absolutely beautiful shape. I don't even see many spindle marks around the center circle at all, which indicates to me it was played very little. VINYL INFO: The vinyl is very shiny, clean and nice -- and practically perfect -- with nothing negative to report at all either. To me it appears about as clean as the day it was first purchased almost 50 years ago. JACKET INFO: The jacket has several scuff marks along the seam areas, a small seam splits -- which were scotch taped over -- on both the top and bottom seams, plus the number "26" written very small on the jacket's backside only. However, the overall appearance of the main body on both sides is otherwise very nice. So, please view all the pictures below and judge everything for yourself. INTERESTING FACTS: You just don't see these Jimmy Reed LPs out there very much anymore, so please have at it. In addition, I have listed---and will continue to do so---many other RnR/R&B LP's, EP's, and 45's by 1950-60's artists----and more C&W LPs, too. I am slowly selling off my personal collection, and there are many more records of all varieties to get to yet. Many of these still to be listed records are quite rare and hard to find, and most all of them are in near mint shape. So, please bookmark my site and check it out from time to time.
