JIMMY SMITH A Date With Volume Two Blue Note 1548 Mono LP 2nd Pressing 1958 Deep Groove RVG P
You're bidding on a early 2nd LP Pressing of the JIMMY SMITH album A Date With JIMMY SMITH Volume Two
issued by Blue Note Records 1548 in late 1957 or early 1958. The Record features Deep Groove labels with the
47 West 63rd . New York 23 address on both sides and does not have a (R) underneath the letter E in Note. The
inscription in the Eccentric Run-Out Groove reads: RVG (machine stamped (P) for Plastylite) BN-LP-1548-A (or) B
9M. The Back Cover has the 47 West 63rd St., New York 23 address that was listed on 1st & 2nd pressings.
The Record is in Excellent condition with only some light surface scratches and marks including a 3" curved line at
the beginning of Side 1 but these have No effect on playback. Both sides play beautifully and quiet with No groove
wear distortion. The Cover's in VG+ condition with a 1" area of Laminate missing from the front lower right corner,
and small tears in the back cover slick on the right side as well as a pen mark under the (I) in Fidelity and 2 sets of
the initials MR stamped on the top right side along with some light dirt and staining.
