You are bidding on a BLUE NOTE mono recording of JIMMY SMITH AT THE ORGAN VOL 1
BLUE NOTE 1551
Rudy Van Gelder was the recording engineer and "RVG" is etched into the deadwax.
The "EAR" is etched into the deadwax.
Played on a Rega turntable, the vinyl is estimated at VG++ with the appearance of light wear (sleeve marks non-feelable hairlines), BUT...the record sounds great, with dynamic separation and clean sound. There's the occasional very light click in the silent space between songs and possibly during the quieter passages, but this is Definitely a record you can enjoy. The engineering is impressive.
The cover is estimated at VG++ to NM minus. The seams are excellent. The front cover gloss is excellent and the reverse shows only the patina of age evidenced in the photos.
The record will be shipped in a new container designed for the the shipment of records with the vinyl removed from the cover and everything within a plastic sleeve.
I will not be responsible for any damage or loss incurred upon depositing the LP at the postal facility.
