Jimmy Smith- At The Organ Vol. 2
Blue Note 1552 (1957) MONO pressing
RVG hand scribed in deadwax, both sides
Plastylite "ear" scribed in deadwax, both sides
47 W. 63rd Street address

LP is in solid VG+ condition, very few marks. On spot play testing of areas with marks, I noticed only two that cause tics for a few revolutions. But overall this lp plays remarkably quietly. Fantastic sonics- the rich, full tone just booms out of the speakers. I've read about these early era Blue Note pressings but until now have not had the chance to listen to one as well preserved as this. They deserve their stellar reputation.

The jacket is in VG condition. Would grade higher but a previous owner saw fit to put transparent tape around the perimeter- kind of odd since the seams are all in excellent shape. Most of the tape has dried and fallen off, but the evidence remains as shown in the pics. The front looks quite a bit better than the back, due to the darker color.
