This US press is on the New York USA, blue and white Blue Note label. It has one essential elements of the early presses; the RVG etched in the dead wax. The vinyl is complete with the original Blue Note inner sleeve. Released in 1960, the album features Percy France, Kenny Burrell and Donald Bailey.
The vinyl is in Excellent condition. It is pressed on wonderful heavy 60's vinyl and has a sensational lightly played gloss. There are a couple of very wispy marks but certainly nothing significant - the vinyl shows no wear to grooves or sign of heavy play at all. The label is superb, the white is bright, the blue is solid and there is only the very slightest spindle wear. The vinyl is complete with the original Blue Note inner sleeve also in Excellent condition.
The sound quality is Excellent. The heavy vinyl lies completely flat on the turntable and plays through exceptionally well. Extremely warm, rich and vibrant. There is a little background noise at times but still Excellent audio separation and clarity throughout.
The heavy card sleeve is in Excellent condition. The colours are extremely bright and the image is still sharp with no wear at all. There is just a little white discolouration. The whole sleeve is extremely solid and the spine is firm with clear text.
