 rare... jimmy smith's best live lp by a country mile.. and no doubt one of his best overall lps. "root down - jimmy smith live!" US original issue verve 1972 cat # V6 8806. sleeve and vinyl a STRONG vg++; few lightest possible wispy surface marks away from stone mint. sleeve has very slight corner wear and one inch split on top edge right corner but is otherwise similarly MINT-.  features "root down (and get it); the source of the beastie boys track of the same name. absolutely FANTASTIC lp, highly recommended; killer funk groove backing by wilton felder, arthur adams & paul humphrey.
