Description
This is a rare early MONO pressing of the excellent NEW SOUND...A NEW STAR..JIMMY SMITH AT THE ORGAN LP by JIMMY SMITH on Blue Note Records (BLP 1512, Mono, w/ "RVG" and "ear" imprint on dead wax) from 1962. A fantastic soul jazz record from this legendary artist. The vinyl is in VG condition with some light marks and wear and some light, unobtrusive surface noise. The sturdy cardboard cover is in VG- condition with a few minor scuffs, two pencil-width promotional hole punches through the left side, as pictured, and a two-inch seam split on the right side of the lower edge. Don't pass up a rare gem like this!
