JIMMY SMITH "THE SOUNDS OF JIMMY SMITH" LP - On Blue Note Records, #1556. Extremely rare vintage jazz Lp. MONO pressing with the classic Blue & White labels and the 47 WEST 63RD NEW YORK 23 address on the labels. The label is DEEP GROOVE on both sides. 'EAR' and 'RVG' etched in the trail-off on both sides. Matrix number is hand-etched on both sides. Thick vinyl, thick laminated cardboard cover. The personnel: Jimmy Smith/organ; Eddie McFadden/guitar; Donald Bailey, Art Blakey/drums. The vinyl is in EX+ condition (beautiful gloss)! The thick cardboard cover is in excellent shape and displays wonderfully. The front cover graphics are particularly striking with vivid colors. Address on back cover is 47 West 63rd St., New York 23.
