Description

Blue Note 4011 

Original mono press from 1959 features Smith with two groups that include Art Blakey, Lee Morgan, Lou Donaldson, Kenny Burrell and George Coleman. 

Side 1 vinyl grades VG++*, with good gloss and a couple very small, light surface marks.  Side 2 is VG+*, with a couple scuffs and finger swipes.  There is no warp, feel-able scratches or pressing bubbles.  It plays beautifully, with minimal noise.   

Cover with laminated front and 61st St address has a 2" split on the top adjacent to a 1/2" split on the spine; otherwise very nice with tight seams and no writing or cutout marks (see photo below). 

Deep groove labels with 63rd St address are clean (see photos below).

The dead wax has RVG machine stamped and the Plastylite ear symbol.
