JIMMY SMITH “The Sounds Of…”  RVG, P, DG, LAM Blue Note 1556 Mono Vinyl

This is the “RVG” etched, Laminated Cover, Deep Groove, P pressing of JIMMY SMITH “The Sounds Of Jimmy Smith” on the "47 West 63rd” labels of Blue Note BLP 1556.  Musicians include Jimmy Smith – Elektronische Orgel, Eddie McFadden– Gitarre, Donald Bailey – Schlagzeug.

VINYL is in very good condition. Plays cleanly with occasional light pops or ticks. Side 1 opens with 8 loud pops, then clean. Some light repeating ticks. Shiny surface. Handful of hairline marks, one on Side 1, #1 causes three skips. The Deep Groove (one side) “47 West 63rd” labels are clean.  See photos.

LAMINATED COVER is in VERY good shape, corners worn. 2” wrinkle at top right corner.  Seams and spine are solid with some cracking. "BLUE NOTE RECORDS, 43 West 61st, St., New York 23" back jacket is clean. P. lease see photos.

This LP was play-tested on a high-end audio system. RECORD CLEANED ON ULTRASONIC CLEANER.
