NO RESERVE! This auction is for a record album which I bought last year at a thrift store in Sarasota, Florida. JIMMY SMITH: WHO'S AFRAID OF VIRGINIA WOOLF? The interesting thing about the album is that it is signed on the left hand side margin area. The signing is light, and hard to read, but I've looked at it in every kind of light -- sunlight, lamp light, magnifying glass, and it definitely reads "Jimmy Smith." I have no authentication that this is an original signed Jimmy Smith album, but I bought it anyway and put it up in my closet when I got home. The signature appears to be old and in pen. Because I cannot authenticate the signature, I am selling the album, and at a great price. The condition of the album is fair, with a few minor scratches. The inner sleeve is original and appears to be in good condition. The album cover seems to be in fair condition. I have taken pictures of all so that you can judge. I am not a record collector, so as to grade, etc., I'm not sure how to describe. Hopefully I got lucky when I bought this album and that it is an original signed. If so, it is a great addition to any collector's library.
