"Smalls' Paradise", NYC, November 15, 1957 Original BLUE NOTE Lp pressing, #1512,
BLUE NOTE BLP 1512, Blue White Label, Double Sided Deep Groove, "RVG", "9M" and the EAR stamped in the dead wax, no "INC" no "R" on the label, and the labels have the "47 WEST 63rd ST., NEW YORK" address. The vinyl shows light checking in the vinyl surface from years of being stacked in a pile (a pile of Blue Notes from the 50's is extremely heavy), the light marks have no affect on play, it plays near mint with no surface noise.
The cover is VG, the spine is completely split and a little bit of the spine paper is missing. The top edge has a 3-4 inch split coming from the spine. The back paste-on has water staining along the spine side, light rounding of the corners, ringwear front and back, and a price written on the back in pencil, there are some stains on the front too (see pictures, although the glare washes out some of the visual defects, please refer to the word description, it is more accurate).
