Manhattan Towers, NYC, February 11, 1957 Original BLUE NOTE Lp pressing from 1957, #1548,
BLUE NOTE BLP 1548, Blue White Label, Double Sided Deep Groove, "RVG", "9M" stamped in the dead wax, the EAR is barely visible stamped on one side, and it's not visible on the other. No "INC", no "R" on the label, and the labels have the "47 WEST 63rd ST., NEW YORK, 23" address.
NOT A FLAT LIP EDGE. The vinyl looks less than near mint because it shows light checking in the vinyl surface from years of being stacked in a pile, but it plays extremely well with no noticeable surface noise, no hiss, no static, it sounds near mint, a beautiful sounding recording!
The cover is VG, the spine has a one inch split in the middle, the top seam has a 2 or 3 inch split in the middle and a one inch split by the spine side, and the bottom has a half inch split by the opening. The back paste-on has water staining along the spine side and the staining stretches out along the bottom a bit, there's also light rounding of the corners all around, and ringwear front and back, (see pictures, although the glare washes out some of the visual defects, please refer to the word description, it is more accurate).
