Description
This is a hard-to-find heavyweight vinyl copy of the 2006 collaboration between JJ Cale and Eric Clapton titled The Road to Escondido. The general appearance of both the front and back of the gatefold cover could be characterized as near mint; however, the two upper edges of the cover both have a 3-inch seam split that obviously detracts from the overall condition. As for the records, they too look great and sound great as well; however, 3 of the 4 sides have a bit of surface noise at the beginning of the side (most notably on side 1). Fortunately this surface noise does not persist or last for long. In spite of the flaws with the records and cover, I'm offering this album at a discount simply because there aren't a lot of them out there, and because ultimately (at least in my opinion) the strengths outweigh the weaknesses.
