JJ DOOM MF DOOM Bookhead EP Picture Disc 2014 OG Lex LEX096EP VG++ Rare Vinyl

Description

JJ DOOM – BOOKHEAD EP | ORIGINAL 2014 PICTURE DISC

A standout MF DOOM collectible from the JJ DOOM collaboration between MF DOOM and producer Jneiro Jarel. This is the original 2014 UK/Europe Lex Records LEX096EP picture-disc pressing—not the later reissue.

The presentation alone makes this one special: one side features the unmistakable DOOM mask artwork, while the reverse is packed with Bookhead-era graphics and track information.

TRACKS / VERSIONS INCLUDE:

• Bookhead
• Pause Tape
• The Signs
• Viberian Son feat. Del the Funky Homosapien
• Rhymin Slang – Dave Sitek Remix
• Guv’nor – BADBADNOTGOOD Version
• Retarded Fren – Thom Yorke & Jonny Greenwood Version
• Bookfiend – Clams Casino Version
• Banished – Beck Remix

The guest list is ridiculous: BADBADNOTGOOD, Thom Yorke & Jonny Greenwood of Radiohead, Clams Casino, Beck, Dave Sitek and Del the Funky Homosapien all appear across this collection of alternate versions, remixes and collaborations.

Musically, expect classic DOOM left-field hip-hop—abstract rhymes, unconventional production, dusty textures and experimental beats—pushed even further by an unusually eclectic group of collaborators.

Label: Lex Records
Catalog: LEX096EP
Format: Limited Edition Picture Disc Vinyl
Pressing: Original 2014 UK/Europe pressing
Condition: VG++
Price: $90

A particularly cool piece for MF DOOM / JJ DOOM collectors, underground hip-hop heads, Lex Records collectors and picture-disc collectors. The combination of the DOOM mask artwork, original pressing and all-star remix lineup makes Bookhead EP much more than an ordinary DOOM release.
