Description

KILLER 1968 popsike single from the UK Jo Jo Gunne, "Every Story Has an End" b/w "Should Live Like That" on the Decca label.  No, it's NOT the same Jo Jo Gunne that cranked out four southern hard rock albums in the US - this is a FAR more obscure and short-lived British band who released only 2 singles between 1968 and 1969.  Trust me, this one shows up about once every 10 years - I waited that long to finally find THIS one!  And thankfully, it's a good one too, with "Every Story" showing a distinct UK Rubble sound.  It starts off with some ominous King Crimson style mellotron, but then quickly evolves into a bouncy UK slab of catchy popsike, with a HUGE singalong style chorus, great harmonies and some Godzilla-sized stompin' drumbeats!  There's a bit of a gospel revival sound at the end with some great soulful vocals and handclaps.  The flip, "Should Live Like That", has a mellower feel, with some loungey dramatic vocals and fine organ work.  A genuine rarity that NEVER shows up - uncomped too!  Original 1968 pressing on the UK Decca label.  Vinyl looks shiny and new, plays VG to VG+ with some surface noise.  Winning bidder pays $3 shipping in the US, $4 to Canada, $6 everywhere else.  Paypal, Bidpay, cash, checks and money orders accepted.  Check out my other auctions for more obscure 60's pop, psych and garage singles!
