Description
For sale is JO STAFFORD's "Jo + Jazz," on Columbia CL 1561, Mono, DG, Red-6-Eye Promo, 1960.
SOUND: VG+/NM It has been machine-cleaned and I listened to both sides completely. Side A is clean and clear, near-perfect. Side B plays great, but there is a touch of soft surface noise towards the end. Not a big deal, but it must be mentioned.
VINYL: VG+ There are a few faint, routine scuffs or hairline marks on either side, nothing other than superficial, and worthy of a VG+ record. The red-6-eye labels are factory-"demo," and are bright and clean, with a couple faint spindle-marks.
JACKET: VG+ Solid edges and spine, decent corners. Front and back are clean with minor, routine shelf-wear. "Demo" stamp on the back.

Every record I auction has been cleaned on a Nitty Gritty vacuum/cleaner. I played every record to determine if there are static, tics, pops, hisses, what have you. I endeavor to thoroughly report any extraneous audio "noise" or problems of any significance. Other than that, I will report on the general condition of each record, both vinyl and jacket, according to Goldmine standards, to the best of my ability.
Every record is put into a new, clean sleeve insert. In the case of an interesting original sleeve insert, I'll include that in the sale.
If you're into this stuff, you might want to save me to your seller's list and check back periodically. I'll be putting a lot of vintage jazz records up for auction.
