Description

THIS IS A MUST HAVE PIECE FOR JOAN JETT FANS! Factory sealed except there is a small missing piece in the cellophane at the top right front. This LP has never been opened and never played. JJ 707 was stamped IMPORT as a marketing technique by Jett and Laguna, but it was really sold in the US.

" Kenny took his daughter’s college fund of $500 and we printed 100 albums and sold them out of the trunk of our car. They sold out right away. We printed more and they sold out."

Rather than continue to hunt for a willing label, Laguna and Jett decided to fund the pressing of the album themselves. The original, self-released, version of the album was simply titled Joan Jett and was sold directly to concert-goers and record stores out of Laguna's trunk.
