Description
Four original first pressing Joanie Sommers LPs on Warner Brothers Records, 1959-1962. All are absolutely gorgeous original copies. Included are:
-Positively the Most! (1959) - WS-1346 Her most famous album! Famous cover photo and incredible versions of My Heart Belongs to Daddy and Marty Paich's Squeeze Me and many others. Absolutely beautiful copy with the original inner sleeve.
-The "Voice" of the Soxties (1961) - WS-1412 This time with arrangements "custom designed" by Neal Hefti. Definitely a new sound for her, moving into the 60s. Perfect stereo copy with original inner sleeve.
-For Those Who Think Young (1962) - WS-1436 Here she is with bandleader Marty Paich, who along with Tommy Oliver was one of her main arrangers and songwriters. Bold and brassy big band sound on side one, with a live concert on side two. Perfect gold label copy with WB inner.
-Let's Talk About Love (1962) - W-1474 Tommy Oliver conducts great big band arrangements. This is a mono copy, very punchy and bright sound. Lovely copy with WB inner sleeve.
All are absolutely beautiful copies. Near impossible to beat.
