JOE BROWN, A picture of Joe Brown, original UK 1962 LP.
ACL 1127, original UK 1962 maroon / silver, mono ‘ridged’ Ace of Clubs record labels.
A UK album in original condition, featuring:
1. a very early original UK and hard to find Joe Brown LP from 1962,
2. features a slower ‘alternative take’ of the track, ‘Stick around’,
3. on side two, track four, the writers credit appears as, Crompton-Jones-Parker on the record label, but on the rear of the sleeve this appears as, Crompton-Jones-Stevens’ !,
4. comes with its original period, ‘Decca’ inner sleeve.
CONDITION:
THE MAIN SLEEVE: is in near very good condition, the sleeve is laminated on the front. The spine is in near very good condition, it has some ageing but all of the text on the spine is clear to read. The rear of the sleeve features the two original ‘flip backs’, ie fold over edges, seen top and bottom. There are NO tears or splits. On the rear, top left there are the numbers, 7/6 written in blue pen and on the rear, top right there is some evidence of a sticker that has been removed.
THE INNER SLEEVE: is in very good++ condition and is the original period ‘Decca’ inner sleeve. The two opening edges have remained very clean. Theres NO pen writing, tears, splits, stickers or sticker residue on the inner sleeve.
THE RECORD: each side is in very good+ condition. The record is made from the period 1960s, thick, heavy vinyl. The record has remained dark and glossy.
The matrix are: ARL 5593 - 1A and ARL 5594 – 3A,
The mother / stampers are: ‘1U’ and ‘1M’,
THE AUDIO: each side plays near excellent with just some light ‘crackle’ and some light ‘ticks’ heard here and there. The record lays flat on the turntable and plays with a full, loud period mono sound.
THE RECORD LABELS: side one is in excellent condition, side two is in very good++ condition. Each record label is free from any pen writing, stickers or sticker residue.

THE RECORD / SLEEVES ARE THEN PUT INTO A NEW PLASTIC SLEEVE FOR FURTHER PROTECTION.
