JOE COCKER - 'WITH A LITTLE HELP FROM MY FRIENDS.'
UK original 1st pressing on maroon red and silver text REGAL ZONOPHONE labels. SLRZ 1006. (1969). First issue matrix and front laminated flipback sleeve.
Fantastic album, with the cream of UK guests including Jimmy Page, Stevie Winwood, Albert Lee, Matthew Fischer, Chris Stainton, Mike Kellie, Madeline Bell and more.
UK front laminated flipback sleeve grades full EXCELLENT (EX) to EXCELLENT PLUS (EX+) condition. Intact, fully legible spine text. Clean and solid condition with moderate signs of slight discolouration, age and handling wear. Rear of sleeve is clean with only light signs of age. There is a light laminate crease to the bottom right of the sleeve and a small circular red sticker near the Regal Zonophone logo at the top right. I have not attempted to remove this, but it may be hiding a tiny laminate/sticker tear underneath. It barely notices however.
The glossy vinyl grades EXCELLENT (EX) visibly (maybe EX+ even), with only some light surface marks. Plays through extremely well with some light crackle between tracks. Truly awesome sound and mix. The labels are also in great condition.
In all a great example of this scarce and all time classic UK rock album - An utterly fantastic debut record.
