ITEM: "Introducing Joe Gordon", by Joe Gordon, recorded September, 1954. Original Deep Groove Emarcy label, catalog number MG-36025, Mono. Blue David Stone Martin labels.

COMMENTS / CONDITION: This LP came from a private collection - it is not a beat up item bought at a yard sale. The record was visually graded, and was test played.

Grading is according to Goldmine Standards. If you are not familiar with that system, please go to the Goldmine web site and read the grading details BEFORE YOU BID.

Vinyl is strong VG to VG+ Condition, with no warps, deep scratches, cracks, or chips. On close inspection under a bright light source, a few light scuffs and hairlines can be seen, which are mostly cosmetic and do not affect the playback or listening enjoyment of the music. On side 1, track 2, there is a small "feel-able" needle scratch which produces audible ticks near the beginning if the track. Aside from that, on my older system, both sides played quietly with no pops, background noise, skips, or groove lock. Side 2 has the foggy haze that is common to many early Emarcy LP's, and is probably caused by contact with the inner static-free plastic sleeve. This has no effect on the playback. NOTE: Sound quality will vary from system to system. The above comments are included strictly as reference, and are not a statement as to the experience you may have with your equipment.

Both deep groove labels are in excellent, clean condition with no, peeling edges, rips, or writing. The center hole is perfectly round and shows no signs of repeated playing.

The plastic  inner sleeve has been replaced by a plain white paper sleeve.

I have not tried to clean the vinyl or the labels. Serious collectors usually have their own preferred methods they use to care for their records.

Cover is in VG  condition, with no stickers, labels, or price tags. Cover colors and graphics are crisp and bright, and the laminate has no bubbles or fading. There is a crease line on the top right corner. The bottom seam has a clean 7.5 inch split beginning at the opening edge. There is chipping and shelf wear to the edges and corners. The back cover shows moderate age fading and rub wear/soiling from handling and storage. This is NOT a cut-out - NO drill holes, notches, or clipped corners.
