THE LAMINATED SLEEVE REMAINS SOLID THROUGHOUT, NO SPLITS OR TEARS & JUST THE OCCASIONAL LIGHT LAMINATE CREASE - TO THE REAR TLH CORNER IS AN OLD STICKER, I'VE LEFT IT IN PLACE & YOU CAN REMOVE IT IF YOU SO WISH... EDGE WEAR IS LIGHT
THE VINYL ITSELF LOOKS GREAT WITH JUST THE ODD FINGERPRINT, GROOVE DUST CAN BE SEEN UNDER STRONG LIGHT BUT NOTHING A GOOD CLEAN COULDN'T SORT OUT - LABELS ARE SOLID WITH JUST A FEW FLECKS TO SIDE 1 (aging perhaps ?)
PLAY TESTED IN FULL VIA - MICHELL GYRO SE II / RB300 / ORIGIN LIVE / ORTOFON KONTRA B' CART SET UP
A GREAT SOUNDING ALBUM, LOUD WITH TERRIFIC BASS THROUGHOUT- THERE WAS MINOR SURFACE NOISE & THE OCCASIONAL POP/CLICK MORE NOTICABLE IN THE QUIETER MOMENTS BUT I DOUBT THIS HAS BEEN CLEANED IN ALL IT'S 42 YEARS - PLAYED AT HIGH VOLUME & AT NO TIME WERE THERE ANY JUMPS....
I NO LONGER HAVE A CLEANING MACHINE BUT I KNOW HOW EFFECTIVE THEY ARE AT BRINGING NEW LIFE INTO OLD VINYL........THIS SOUNDS GREAT NOW, WITH A CLEAN IT CAN ONLY GET BETTER...
