JOE HENDERSON INNER URGE

This rare US 1st press is on the New York USA grooved, blue and white Blue Note label. It has all the essential elements of the earliest presses - the ear and Van Gelder etched in the dead wax. It is complete with the original heavy card pasted sleeve.
The vinyl is in Excellent condition. It has a sensational high gloss and is pressed on wonderful heavy 1960's vinyl. It just has a couple of extremely light wispy marks. The blue and white Blue Note label is exceptionally bright, the white is completely unworn and the text is immaculate. There is only the very slightest spindle wear and a few faint spider marks.
The sound quality is Excellent. The heavy vinyl lies completely flat on the turntable and when played is exceptionally rich and vibrant, the kind of quality that only exists on these original presses. There is occasional light background noise, particularly in quiet moments, but it still has superb audio separation and clarity throughout.
The heavy card sleeve is in Very Good condition. The black image is clear, the white is crisp and the text is sharp. There is some edge wear and some tape residue leaving some edge discolouration and a scuff on the back, otherwise it is solid and bright.
