Up for bids is an original Mono Jazz LP by Joe Newman and Zoot Sims called "Locking Horns" on Rama Records. RLP 1003. 1957.

ORIGINAL COMMERCIAL 1ST PRESSING ON THE BLUE RAMA RECORD LABELS!

DEEP GROOVE PRESSING!

Record's edges are raised.

Front of cover is laminated.

Comes with slightly yellow, "plastic sack" inner sleeve.

NOTE:

The grades I use are Mint (rarely used grade), Near Mint, VG+++ (rarely used grade), VG++, VG+, VG, VG Minus, Good+, Good, Fair and Poor.

Cover is in VG Minus to VG condition. Front and back have some wear. Top corner, back of cover at opening has a small pinhole that does not go through to front. Top of cover has a 7 9/16" split from its center to the opening. Bottom of cover has a 2 3/8" split in its center and a small 7/16" split by the opening. Spine has a lot of heavy fraying and has lost a lot of artwork, which has caused a 5" split in its center. Spine also has old dried tape marks on front and back (mainly on back).

I would rate the record’s condition as VG Minus. There are a good amount of marks and scratches. Some are deep but do NOT skip on my player. Still has good fidelity and sounds great!
