Description

Artist:   JOE TURNER

Title:   “and the blues’ll make you happy, too!”

Label:   SAVOY.  Monaural first-pressing on LP, on medium weight vinyl.  Label is blood-red with silver text, with deep groove.  Catalog number is MG 14012.

Matrix number and “RVG” are stamped in the runout area.  Label is stamped “Sample Copy – Not For Sale.”

Year:  1958 first issue on LP

Condition:

DISC:  Vinyl is NEAR MINT with 100% of original gloss, as clean as can be found.  Appears to have been played one or two times at most, and handled with care.  Labels are clean except for “Sample Copy” stamped once on each side.  Fidelity is superb.  Winning bidder will be extremely pleased.

JACKET:   NM- with nice bright artwork.   Seams, spine, and surfaces are excellent.  A bit of minor wear at corner tips.  Reverse is clean and white with no writing, stickers, or cutout indications.  Overall a very fine jacket worthy of display.
