Very rare, soul funk 45 from Rockford, IL circa 1970. Joey Irving on Vincent VR-130, "What Happened to the Love" and "Can You Handle Me Girl ?" This copy is a virtually unplayed, store stock copy as found in its original manila sleeve. I grade this 45 as a NM-/VG++. Beautiful gloss though the "Can You Handle Me Girl ?" side has a series of some light fingernail scuffs that have no affect on the play. There is just the slightest hint of a storage warp on this disc and the vinyl has a light surface texture, like an orange peel on one side noticeable towards the trailout. This may be a pressing flaw but it has no affect on the play. This disc plays like new on my Dual turntable and Audio Technica cartridge. The labels are very nice and clean. This copy probably was one of the remaining stock of Vincent 45's that was discovered stored for many years in Vincent Chiarelli's garage. Vince had garage sales through the years and 45's were sold to the public. Aside from the very few soul, garage and psych singles that were issued, the majority of the output of this label were fun Italian specialties by Vincent himself, political novelties and some really terrible country records.
