Nikolaus Harnoncourt with the Concentus musicus and Gustav Leonhardt with his Consort have set precedents for authentic concert practice for the music of Johann Sebastian Bach. Records made from their performances have found the enthusiastic applause of music lovers and specialists all over the world. Numerous international awards for the records sustanitate the artistical and professional success of this work. In consequent continuation of this work, it is now intended to produce all Bach Cantatas in the biggest project in the history of records so far, which will take several years to be completed. For the first time, the TELEFUNKEN Albums will, in the form of a synoptic edition, also contain complete scores and the complete texts of the cantatas as well as detailed descriptions of the works and remarks about interpretations.
Each box set contains 2 LPS, musical notes and lyrics booklet/libretto, musical notation and historic notes in German, French and English.
Boxes are near mint except one VG+ because of a couple small marks on box.
Original orange paper bands around the boxes.
Inner sleeves original plastic lined archival sleeves.
Most of the vinyls look unplayed.
