Description
Offered is an extremely rare and sought-after extended-play 45 on RCA Camden, Waltzes by Johann Strauss, Jr. (CAE 158). performed by the Century Symphony Orchestra (pseudonym for the Chicago Symphony Orchestra), issued in 1956. The cover art is by (then) up-and-coming commercial artist, Andy Warhol.
The disc is in a fair condition with numerous superficial surface marks together with a few moderate scratches consistent with frequent play and less than ideal storage. The sound quality is reasonable but significant background is audible throughout and my needle jumping on 'Wine, Woman And Song, Op. 333 0 Waltz (Wein, Weib Und Gesang)'. Not to play, but very special to own.
The cover is in a very good condition. It has some writing on the front and age-related marks.
