Title:   “Bach Sonatas and Partitas for Violin Solo”

Label:   ANGEL.  Labels are red with silver text.  Mono pressing on thick vinyl.  Catalog number is ANG 35281.  Made in England.

Matrix numbers (stamped) are as follows:  Side 1:  XAX 732-1N;  Side 2:  XAX 615-3N.

Condition: 

DISC:  Vinyl retains 100% of original gloss, has been played a small number of times and handled with care.  Grades NM except for Side 1, Band 1 where there is a very slight surface mark in the shape of a “V” that produces some soft but audible soft ticks for approximately 60 seconds.  The remainder of the disc plays flawlessly, and the surfaces are clean with no blemishes or marks.  I have included a sound clip of Band 1 so that you can hear the entire 5 minutes, the latter portion of which is representative of the remainder of the album.  If not for the one affected portion, I would have graded it near mint.  Fidelity is superb.  Labels are clean.  A very fine playing copy.  

JACKET:  Jacket with original dowel inner sleeve is nice VG+ .  Front is beginning to show a bit of minor darkening along the edges, and there is a small sticker at the bottom left corner.  A few minor traces of wear along top and bottom seam are beginning to appear, beginning of split at the very edge of top and bottom opening.  Reverse has minor discoloration due to age.  Dowel inner jacket has a bit of minor marking on the front side.  No writing, cutout indications, or other flaws except noted above.  Overall a very presentable jacket to accompany the lovely disc.
