Johnny Cash At Folsom Prison
1968 First Pressing, Pittman Pressing Plant, In original shrink!
Rare. This original Pittman pressing is not seen often.

Vinyl: both sides glossy,  Side A, VG++   Side B, VG+ because of 1 feel-able scratch but plays fine with a few nearly inaudible pops. There are a 2 small pressing defects in the last track on side B. Overall very quiet.

Jacket: VG++, still in original shrink wrap! S0me age appropriate foxing on back cover.  See pictures.

Original '68 Release Stereo "360 Sound" Columbia "Two Eye"1st US Press: Brilliant Collector Copy! Vinyl is glossy  with just a few scuffs- PLAY TESTED: Spins full fidelity with minimal noise. Columbia Two Eye Red labels are perfect, bright with no spindle marks. Cover is Excellent: Clean, bright, NO creasing, no splits.

"Folsom Prison Blues" was Johnny Cash's second single on Sun Records which became popular among prisoners who would write to Cash requesting him to perform at their prisons. Cash's first prison performance was at Huntsville State Prison in 1957 and he performed at several other prisons leading up to the Folsom performance in 1968.
