On offer here is a rare 1969 first pressing of the John and Yoko boxed set 'Wedding Album'. This a genuine UK Apple label first pressing - not to be confused with the more common later German and Japanese Odeon pressings.This example still has its rare original 'Bagism' white vinyl bag in near mint condition!!!! - these rare bags are usually missing or damaged. Controversial on its original release and still outrageous today - Probably the most expensive release on the Apple label due the the elaborate packaging including a heavy vinyl bag. All that's missing here is the kitchen sink!!!. This is a stunning example and is complete with all its contents in fantastic condition!!!!.- a truly exceptional boxed LP and not to be missed. Original first pressings with all contents are becoming very hard to find and in this condition very rare indeed. Definitely a must have for any serious John Lennon / Yoko Ono / Beatles collector!!!!!!!

Sleeve Laminated gatefold sleeve in Ex condition. An incredible example with strong colour and no fading - perfectly flat - just a couple of very small creases and a very small tear ( about 5mm long see photo) on the back top of spine. Spine excellent with all text clear and legible. Laminate in beautiful condition with only a couple of small bubbles near spine on reverse.
Labels Near Mint. Strong colour, no fading. a couple of very light spindle marks only. - Fantastic!!!!
Vinyl EX+ to Mint Minus. Perfectly flat and still with it's original 'just pressed' sheen -just a couple of very small light surface paper marks.- rarely do you see this record in such outstanding condition.
Sound Plays loud with very no surface noise - No jumps, clicks or pops - strong sound with no distortion.Slight surface noise on run-ins only!!!!!
Liner Printer paper liner in Near Mint condition.
Inserts 'The Wedding" black and white poster in Ex condition with just light creases on folds. Wedding cake photo Ex condition minor light creses only. Full colour landscape poster Ex condition. 'Hair Peace / Bed' Peace postcard Ex + condition very slight crease on one corner (1mm long) Pasport photos Ex + condition. 'Bagism' white vinyl bag Near Mint. Landscape poster of John Lennon drawings in Ex + condition.' The Press' 12x12 inch books of press clippings and cartoons related to the wedding in Near Mint condition.
Box Original Apple box in VG + condition Base has minor crease to one corner. Lid has slight mark top right where orginal price sticker has been removed nothing very noticable and light surace groove mark near photo. Corners have some rubbing with on corner split. Wedding certificate on reverse near perfect.( see photos ).

An incredible example of this very rare album and so hard to find complete in this outstanding condition!!! - Very few of these sets around now in anywhere near decent or complete condition. This is not your usual second rate copy - a brilliant first pressing in top condition - this truly stunning example will definitely not disappoint!! Happy Bidding!!
