JOHN ANDREWS a rose growing in the ruins PARLOPHONE 7-inch DEMO R 5455!
UK 7-inch DEMONSTRATION single, released in 1966 on the
PARLOPHONE label.
Catalogue number: R 5455
B-side: It’s just love.
VERY GOOD CONDITION
Record labels are VERY GOOD, A-side label displays, some record
spindle edge hole wear. KT mouldings are lightly worn, but all
the label print is clearly visible. B-side label is VERY GOOD, displays
some light spindle edge hole wear, but no label print wear, but has
some small scattered discoloured patches in places. Spindle hole
markings show record has been moderately played.
Vinyl displays some light surface scuffs marks, mainly fine line and
hairline types, lightly scattered and not excessive, there is a small
visible surface mark at 4 o’clock on the b-side playing area near the
run in groove, which you can feel slightly, however this does not
sound or show up when played.
Both sides play EXCELLENT, mostly displaying a clean sound
with no loud back ground crackles or clicks.
Record comes complete with the original PARLOPHONE “Fran the
Fan” sleeve, however this is worn and displays wear and tear with
some cello tape repairs, overall in fair to good condition.
