Jacket: EX Excellent: Box is solid with a small 2" scratch on the front and minor wear; Booklet 1 is in EX condition with the top left corner lightly creased; booklet 2 is EX showing little wear at all; super copy of this rare set
I grade visually and have not played or listened every single LP I list. I try to grade conservatively and give good descriptions of the records for sale. If I missed something or there is an issue with a record I have sold you, please let me know so we can work it out. I want happy customers.

Grading Guidelines I Use Are:
Still Sealed (SS) = a new record, sealed in its original shrinkwrap.Near Mint (NM) Vinyl is near perfect. Very likely unplayed. At most, a light scuff appears on the record, but it should play without any noise or skips. The record sleeve should also be near perfect with only minor signs of wear.**I do not grade covers NM, as there are almost always some minor defects preventing perfect condition. SEALED or EX are the grades I will use for the top quality covers I sell.**
Excellent (EX) Vinyl should play with no skips. There can be some very minor surface scuffs, that should not affect the sound quality. The record sleeve can have some minor ring wear but should be in very good shape. There may be minor creases or bumps in the corners but no splits in the seams.
Very Good+ (VG+) The sound quality of the record is likely affected at this point. There may be some mild surface noise, and the vinyl will show wear, including surface scuffs and/or light scratches. The record is still very playable with no deep scratches that cause skips. On the cover, there will likely be light ringwear and the corners may be slightly bent / bumped. There may be wear to the seams but not tears or holes.
Very Good (VG) Very Good is not necessarily good for records. Record will have marks and scuffs but still plays well enough. Surface noise will likely be present, including pops and clicks. At higher volume levels, the music should overpower any pops and clicks present. There may be seam splitting, but not complete separation of the sleeve panels from each other. There will be noticeable ring wear on the cover, but the cover should for the most part still be in good condition.
Good (VG-) I do Not Sell Records at this grade unless they are SUPER RARE and will give a very thorough description of the item. Vinyl is well played and looks it. However, the record should still play without skipping. It will have substantial surface noise, pops and clicks. Loss of various parts of the dynamic range will occur due to worn grooves. This grade depends a lot on the owner and the type of records he or she collects. A rock record may still sound ok at a high volume, but quieter styles of music will be practically unlistenable. The record cover may have many problems including seam splits, tears, and writing on it
