JOHN CALE - Fear- 12" LP Record Island Records ISLP 9301 Matrix Nos:- ILPS 9301 A-1U P (Stamped) PORKY (Etched), ILPS 9301 B-1U R (Stamped) PECKO (etched)
This is an original UK promotional 1st pressing, from 1974, in pinch ended picture sleeve with plain white inner sleeve and paper labels. This promotional copy was released with 2 photos and an Island Records, 3 page, Biographical print-out, all in mint condition.
The condition of the record sleeve is excellent but. It is not laminated and is beginning to show faint signs of ring-wear. The "JOHN CALE Fear" is printed on a clear plastic label. The record labels are very clean. The inner sleeve is also excellent but I don't know if it's the original.
The vinyl is in excellent condition with no scratches, sticks, jumps, warps or distortion. There were faint clicks here and there. Between the last two tracks on side two there were 3 faint repetitive clicks which could be construed as a scratch but I couldn't see it. I bought this from a friend about 15 years ago and he had a record cleaning machine which he may have used on the record.
If sold, I would post this using a 'Royal Mail Tracked' delivery.
