Recording information: 1964 - 1968.
A fascinating mix of acoustic and electronic musical experimentation, jazz miniatures, Beat poetry, musique concrete, and a smattering of avant-garde rock & roll, this three-CD set carries some of the seeds of John Cale's later work with the Velvet Underground, and features performances by 1960s figures like Tony Conrad and future Velvets members Angus MacLise and Sterling Morrison.
