Description
Here is an ultra rare original UK stereo copy of one of the greatest albums ever made - 'A Love Supreme' by John Coltrane. Sublime music and a copy to die for.
Stereo examples of this original 1965 HMV pressing are hard to come by, certainly in this barely played condition. I am certain you will struggle to find a better copy, both disc and sleevewise.
Both labels are unblemished, with only the lightest evidence of any spindle activity indicating very little play indeed (see my photos).
Both sides of this lovely disc are unmarked. Even when examined under unforgiving halogen light there is nothing other than the wispiest of paper/sleeve withdrawal marks to see. The disc also lies perfectly flat on the truntable with no warping whatsover. It easily grades EX+ (UK Record Collector gradings).
The original HMV front laminated flipback (patents pending) single sleeve manufactured by Garrod & Lofthouse Ltd grades EX- with no tears, rips or unwanted writing, and just the lightest of creasing near the spine, a tiny ding bottom right and just the usual acquisition of the dust of ages along the tacky millimetre-wide edges of the rear flipbacks.
In conclusion then, here is a rare chance to acquire a hardly played original stereo copy of one of the greatest albums of all time.
