JOHN COLTRANE "A LOVE SUPREME" 1965 Impulse! A-77 mono
This is the original mono pressing of Coltrane's seminal masterpiece. Gatefold with "VAN GELDER" stamp in deadwax. Grading is a very subjective matter so I've recorded the entire LP for you to listen and judge for yourself before bidding. Visibly the LP shows some scuffs but to my ears it's very listenable with mild crackle and a few pops/ticks that don't detract from the music.

Same goes for the sleeve; hopefully the pictures tell the story. It's nowhere near mint but fine-looking all the same. Front sleeve looks very clean, spine text is partially torn. The white flash visible in the first photo (lower right) is reflection off the lamination, not actual discoloration or damage. The inner gatefold shows mild discoloration and a very small, faint stamp (underneath "John Coltrane - December, 1964" at the bottom right). Upper right corners are tight, bottom right rear has the beginnings of a tiny seam split, about 1 cm., upper right corner of rear sleeve (near the spine) is slightly torn.
