John Coltrane Quartet - AFRICA/BRASS Impulse (cat # Stereo A-6/AS-6) Original 1961 stereo pressing
This is an excellent copy of the John Coltrane Quartet's Africa/Brass. released in 1961 on Impulse (cat # Stereo A-21/AS-6). The gatefold cover is in great shape with some very small corner wear at the top and bottom of the spine, the orange on the spine has faded. The lamination is intact with some dull spots on the cover where there has been some textural rubbing but this is normal for records from this time. The inside is very clean with black rubbing marks from the photo on the opposite side, the white paper is starting to age. The vinyl plays wonderfully even though it has several inaudible surface scratches and marks. The labels have some spindle marks but nothing major. "RVG STEREO" is stamped in the deadwax. The original inner sleeve is not included. Overall, this is a beautiful record and in excellent condition - the small amount of wear will not get in the way of your enjoyment at all.
